The post holder will work within an established team to develop and maintain quality placements for pre-registration nursing students and other learners in the South Tees area. The role involves working closely with learners and practice assessors across clinical practice areas, supporting students to achieve their learning outcomes. The post holder will assist the Senior Practice Placement Facilitator in ensuring the quality of placements, collaborating with Higher Education Institutions and NHSE to meet educational standards, and maintaining a high-quality learning experience aligned with NMC standards (2019).
Main Duties
* Demonstrate commitment to developing professional and clinical practice at all levels, aligning with the Nursing & Midwifery Strategy and Patient Safety Strategy.
* Contribute to the Trust's quality and safety priorities through education and role modeling.
* Follow Trust policies on records management and NHS Code of Practice for Records Management.
* Maintain professional registration, continually updating knowledge and practice through evidence-based approaches.
* Develop effective communication networks within complex situations, engaging with service users, healthcare professionals, and statutory and voluntary organizations.
