Staggered shifts between the hours of 6am - 12pm.
What we need from you
You will support our experienced manager in leading our production team, making our full range of sandwiches, baguettes, muffins and pastries. You will be fully responsible for production. Duties will include food safety, quality control, GP delivery, training and personnel management of the shift. You will need to be a highly motivated individual with an eye for detail.
Skills:
* Food production background.
* Excellent leadership and management – is able to inspire, instil disciplines and achieve through others.
* Practical – able to carry out practical training and have a hands-on approach. Must be able to undertake every task within our kitchen operation.
* Communication – good control of English language; able to communicate well both orally and written.
* Commercial – must be able to demonstrate a commercial aptitude; show desire to deliver to given targets – be able to demonstrate an understanding of stock management, yield, and margin delivery.
Other background:
* Vocational food qualification – NVQ level 2 for example.
* 1 years supervisory/ management experience in a high-volume food production business.
* Proven experience of managing people.
* Food safety qualification –Level 2 or equivalent.
