Job Description:
At Believe Care and Support, we are more than just a care provider - We are a values-driven team dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities and mental health support needs. Our mission is simple: to deliver outstanding, person-centred support by empowering both our team members and the individuals we support.
We believe in individuality - embracing the uniqueness of every person. You will be encouraged to bring your whole self to your role and celebrated for your individual spirit.
We believe in teamwork and collaboration - working together, sharing challenges, and growing as a collective to create meaningful change.
We believe in citizenship - supporting individuals to be active members of their communities, to have a voice, and to live with dignity and purpose.
We believe in choice and independence - ensuring that every individual we support has the right to make their own decisions and live life on their own terms.
We believe in equality - creating an inclusive environment where everyone, both those we support and our team members, are valued and respected.
At Believe, you will be part of an organisation that invests in your development, values honesty and transparency, and appreciates the vital role you play in transforming lives.
Support is at the heart of everything we do - not just for those we care for, but for you as a valued member of our team. Through training, reflective learning, and everyday encouragement, you will feel supported, appreciated, and empowered in your role.
If you share our passion for individuality, choice, independence, citizenship, collaboration and equality, we would love to hear from you. Come and be part of a team that truly believes in better - better support, better skills, and better lives.
About The Role
PLEASE NOTE WE ARE UNABLE TO OFFER SPONSORSHIP FOR THIS ROLE AT THIS MOMENT IN TIME.
You will be part of a committed team providing personalised support to a gentleman in his own home. Working collaboratively, you will ensure his needs shape the way you provide care and assistance.
We are seeking a warm and engaging Support Worker to join our dedicated team in Preston. The gentleman enjoys lively conversation, friendly banter, cooking, and spending time in the community - whether it’s grabbing a coffee, shopping in town, or visiting Blackpool. Building trust and meaningful relationships, actively listening, and adapting your approach will be essential in this role. If you are a committed, adaptable individual ready to make a meaningful difference and help someone achieve their best life, we would be delighted to hear from you, especially if you align with the values of individuality, choice, independence, citizenship, collaboration, and equality.
