Be an integral part of our Operations team
We are looking for a Production Manager with a twist! You need to be a real agent of transformation and lead this link with the wider team as directed by the General Manager. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, outgoing with an infectious zeal for continuous improvement and LEAN manufacturing techniques. An experienced people manager with a strong background in manufacturing, quality and understanding of customer requirements. A real team player who will quickly garner the respect of your colleagues with your expertise and understand how Engineering and Production should interface to improve product quality, delivery and the overall Customer experience.
Your accountabilities:
1. Maintain ongoing compliance with the Production schedule, Safety and Quality standards.
2. Oversee the production, test, packing and delivery of all our Product offerings with the Customer foremost in mind.
3. Manage the Production team’s development and performance.
4. Employ a selection of strategies to create production processes that can deliver our ambitious revenue growth plans.
Your key allies:
1. Purchasing Manager: Work with to optimise inventory, align outsourcing suppliers and select make or buy decisions.
2. Scheduling & Materials coordinator: Ensure plans are deliverable and kitted parts are in place and correct at the required times.
3. People & Culture Manager and the Finance Manager: to whom you will dotted line report to on business improvement projects.
4. Manufacturing Engineering: and the wider Engineering team for NPI project delivery and sustaining standards of released projects.
5. Quality team: to ensure that processes and products remain compliant and that all your quality obligations are maintained.
6. HSE & Facilities coordinator: Ensure your people, work activities and the workplace is safe and well maintained.
7. Sales Operations Lead: Ensure that products are made to Customer requirements and their delivery and packing is to agreed lead-times and standards.
8. Customer Service: Spares, replacements and Customer feedback issues are addressed.
