The Role
We are looking for someone with experience in artisan hand craft baking and knowledge of Scandinavian bread and pastry baking.
You will need to possess a high degree of attention to detail, be able to supervise the bakery team, and be an effective and efficient baker who is well organized.
Further skills which will need to be demonstrated include:
1. Be an experienced Baker who can mix, hand-mould, and bake bread (minimum two years’ experience in a similar role is expected)
2. Be knowledgeable about artisan techniques and methods
3. Skilled in the use of lamination techniques
4. Experience of working with long fermentation
5. Be passionate about great artisan bread
6. Work closely & support the head baker & the bakery team, to encourage, nurture & develop new talent in the baking industry
7. Be creative in developing new products
8. Possess a can-do attitude and a positive approach to work
9. Physically fit, able to lift a minimum of 25kg and stand for long periods
10. Maintain a clean and tidy bakehouse at all times
11. You MUST be used to night time work, be punctual and reliable

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
