Job Position:
The business is expanding its national coverage by setting up a South-West Office (Taunton) and is excited to offer the opportunity to join the business as an LEV Technician.

The Role:
As an LEV Technician, you will perform LEV Thorough Examination and Testing (TExT) under mentorship while collaborating with Associate Consultants and working closely with clients. This role includes hands-on technical work, client interactions, and the chance to develop advanced skills through structured training and mentorship.
* Conducting LEV examinations and testing in line with COSHH regulations and HSG258 guidelines.
* Assisting with occupational hygiene tasks, including noise assessments and air monitoring.
* Working under the guidance of the Senior Associate Consultant to refine your skills.
* Producing accurate data and observations to assist with technical reports.
* Case managed to specific industries to build up knowledge.
* Traveling to client sites across the UK, including overnight stays.
Essential Requirements:
Certification and Qualifications:
* BOHS P601 Thorough Examination and Testing LEV.
* A full UK driving licence.
* Eligible to work in the UK.
Soft Skills:
* Have a strong interest in engineering, health and safety, or environmental sciences.
* A proactive and curious attitude, with a willingness to learn and grow.
* Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills that align with the business’ core values.
* Ability to communicate professionally with clients to maintain positive work relationships.
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
* Demonstrate the ability to self-manage when working independently.
Desirable Skills / Experience:
* Familiarity with COSHH and LEV Testing Requirements as per HSG258.
* Any prior learning or qualifications supported by the BOHS such as P602, P603, P604, or M501.
