Recycling Lead Operator
Coveris is a leading global manufacturer, creating high performance and technically engineered packaging solutions. At our Winsford site, we produce polythene film for a range of established customers across multiple industries including agricultural, industrial, and food based. We are looking for a hard-working and motivated individual to join our Recycling department!
Job Description
Shifts; Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm, including Bank Holidays, however, there if flexibility for this role to operate on a Monday to Friday 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm rotating shift basis.
Salary; Ranging between £26,799.52 per year and £29,747.47 per year dependent on shift pattern.
Holidays; 33 including Bank Holidays
Key responsibilities
* Supporting the Recycling Manager in achieving all operational KPI’s and objectives in Recycling department.
* Ensuring machines run efficiently and to production plan, in cooperation with maintenance and health and safety standards.
* Ensuring quality of production with the use of tools and procedures.
* Maintaining a safe working environment following processes and working in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974.

* Good literacy, numeracy skills
* A reliable, enthusiastic team player.
* Good communication skills and an open, honest approach.
* Ability to work as part of a team and manage individual workload.
* Display a positive work ethic and ‘can do’ attitude.
* Experience working shift patters and/or long hours
* Desirable but not essential:
o Manufacturing and continuous improvement experience.
o Experience using management systems such as AS400
o FLT licence
o Understands the manual/labour intensive aspect of role
