Job summary We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and motivated individual who has a keen interest in developing their knowledge and skills in the surgical care of patients and being an integral member of a specialised day surgery unit. You will also be involved in outpatient clinics and logistics. We are looking for a Theatre Assistant to come and work alongside our dedicated team within our day surgery unit. You will complete an in house training programme which incorporates all essential competencies required to be able to deliver safe, individualised, patient centred care. You will provide support within theatres, escorting patients, supporting the scrub nurse and be an integral part of the team and providing support in recovery. You will also be supporting clinicians in outpatient clinics, assisting with audit and involved in ordering and maintaining stock.
