This non-invasive device emits low dose UVC light that inactivates all microorganisms on the cornea in seconds, targeting their DNA while sparing host cells. The company is based in the UK and is dedicated to advancing ocular health through innovative technology both in humans and animal health.

About the Role:
Head of Sales - Medical Device for the Veterinary Industry
This senior leadership role has one overarching objective: Maximise the sales and margin of our products over their lifetime, starting with commercialisation of the PhotonUVC Vet, our first product. We passionately believe this success is driven through building great teams with the resources and capabilities to create long term value for our customers.
Key Missions:
1. Optimise sales and margins within vet channels
* Co-create the global sales strategy, including direct and distributor sales
* Consider all touch points for customers, which will include individual clinicians, clinics, key accounts and distribution partners
* Deploy and continually develop the sales strategy throughout the organisation and our commercial partners.
* Own and drive the customer facing‘sales story to align with the company's goals and objectives.
* Manage all customer data to optimise customer journies, identify new opportunities, analysing trends and data. Proactively initiating sales strategies to build revenue.
2.Customer excellence & voice of the customer
* Develop extensive knowledge of customer needs and communicate that to everybody within the organisation.
* Pre sales: Develop and present valued, tailored solutions that leverage Photon Therapeutics’ products and services to create a win-win between the organistion and our customers.
* Aftercare: Ensure we are seen as a high quality supplier that is really easy to deal with. Be at the heart of our mission to deliver exemplary customer service which aligns with the needs of our target customers.
* Leverage sales oriented customer knowledge to contribute to new product and service developments
3.Deliver a sales team leadership mentality
* Foster a high-performance sales culture focused on collaboration, motivation, fun, and results.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
* Collaborate with marketing, design and production, operations teams and technical to ensure alignment between sales initiatives and broader company objectives.
* Engender an “everybody has to be commercial” culture
4.Customer Relationship Management
* Build and nurture strong relationships with key customers including KOL partners, advocates, distributors and corporate accounts.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for major clients, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction
* Make the CRM our single, highly valuable source of customer information able to provide complete pictures of individual customer journeys, record all touchpoints and provide deep insights to enhance the efficiency of our commercial approach
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
* Degree qualified.
* Relevant experience, e.g., 5+ years in sales management / commercial / key account management
* Self-motivated and autonomous with effective time management abilities and a strong focus on delivering strategic goals
* Commercially minded individual with exceptional negotiation skills and sales ability.
* Expert level skills on Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
* A strong team player with the ability to work on their own initiative.
* A confident, likeable and persistent personality with the ability to build and develop relationships at all levels.
* Adaptable and able to evolve the sales team as organisation grows.
* Attend trade shows, events and industry conferences.
* Able to travel nationally and internationally when required.
