Seeking experienced Payroll Lead to manage end-to-end payroll processes for a mid-sized organisation in Loughton.
We are looking for a skilled professional to oversee payroll processing, ensure compliance with statutory regulations, and liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve payroll-related queries.
The successful candidate will report into a Managing Director and lead a team of Payroll Assistants.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the preparation and processing of payroll for all employees.
* Ensure compliance with payroll laws and regulations.
* Manage payroll reconciliations, audits, and year-end reporting.
* Address payroll discrepancies and resolve employee enquiries.
* Collaborate with HR and finance to maintain accurate employee records.
* Continuously improve payroll processes and systems for efficiency.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a similar payroll role.
* Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation.
* Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
