Finance Assistant Closing Date - 03/11/2024 Interviews will be held week commencing 11/11/2024 This role is also available as Job share / part time A bit about the role With an average annual budget of £6bn, there is a need to ensure that public monies allocated to Homes England are managed timely, accurately and in line with programme parameters. This role sits within the Transaction Services Team within Finance, and will support the Transaction Services Manager in the delivery of all finance transactional processing activities, maintaining accuracy and integrity of financial ledgers. Our activities play a key role in ensuring the delivery of Homes England's strategic objectives and keeps the frontline operations working effectively. Key responsibilities will include: processing high volume financial transactions and data within deadlines and in accordance with financial controls. working as part of a team to manage shared mailboxes and respond to telephone enquiries from internal and external customers, ensuring satisfactory resolution. validating and creating new supplier and customer records. processing daily payment runs for multiple ledgers. allocating all bank receipts to customer or general accounts. credit control for all overdue debt. working as a team to achieve departmental Key Performance Indicators and targets. Internally this role is called Accounts Administrator.
