Job Title : Show & Event Stewards Location : Knowsley Safari Park Job Type : Part-time / Seasonal Job Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Show Stewards. As a steward, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of live shows, and entertainment experiences within the park. You will provide exceptional guest service, maintain safety standards, and contribute to an unforgettable experience for park visitors. Key Responsibilities: Guest Assistance : Welcome and assist guests as they enter and exit the show venues. Answer questions, provide directions, and ensure a positive guest experience. Crowd Management : Direct guests before, during, and after shows. Help control crowd flow, ensuring guest safety and comfort. Seating Coordination : Guide guests to their seats and manage seating arrangements. Ensure seating areas are organized and accessible. Show Safety : Monitor the audience and venue during performances to ensure safety protocols are followed. Assist in emergency procedures if necessary. Venue Maintenance : Ensure the show area is clean and tidy before and after performances. Perform light maintenance tasks, such as clearing debris or assisting with show equipment. Ticket Checking : Verify tickets or passes for guests attending shows and special events. Provide information on showtimes and seat availability. Support to Performers : Coordinate with the production team and performers to assist with any required pre-show preparations, like equipment or prop handling. Communication : Relay important information to guests about show timings, delays, cancellations, or any other changes. Guest Relations : Resolve guest concerns, answer queries, and provide additional services like guiding guests with special needs to appropriate seating. Qualifications: Customer Service Skills : Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, approachable demeanour. Communication : Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members. Attention to Detail : Ability to manage large crowds and ensure that all safety protocols are followed. Teamwork : Work well within a team and with other park employees to provide the best guest experience. Problem-Solving : Ability to handle guest complaints and concerns in a calm, efficient manner. Physical Stamina : Comfortable standing, walking, and performing light physical tasks for extended periods. Flexibility : Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, including weekends, holidays, and evenings. What We’re Looking For: Team players who are reliable and committed.
