Commercial Gas Engineer
We are looking for a Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team!
Are you a Commercial Gas Engineer living in Poole, Bournemouth, Ringwood, Dorchester, Southampton and surrounding areas? If so we are looking for you!
Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience is required.
Salary: Competitive rates of pay
Job type: Permanent, Full-time
Shift and schedule: 8 hour daily shift Monday to Friday
Benefits: Company car, company pension, sick pay, private health, dental and eye cover subject to successfully completing probation. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
The successful candidate will be involved in servicing, maintenance, installations and repairs of heating and unvented hot water plant in both commercial and domestic properties.

We are a long-established firm with a team of highly qualified and experienced engineers, we help local businesses with all their heating requirements. Specialising in maintenance contracts for care homes, schools, educational properties, hotels, offices and much more.
We are based in Poole, Dorset and you will be expected to travel within surrounding areas up to approximately 80-mile radius. The vacancy has arisen due to the growth of the company.
Roles & Responsibilities
Testing equipment and appliances to ensure that they function and meet safety standards
Installation work
Assess risks and follow all safety regulations
Gas safety checks, gas network tests
Compiling assets lists, condition reports
Repairing or replacing other Plant, i.e. pumps, pipe work, tanks, FCUs, sinks, taps, actuators & valves
· Candidate Requirements
· 1+ years experience
· Commercial Gas qualified
· Domestic Gas qualified
· Able to carry out planned maintenance, reactive breakdowns and installation work
· Full driving licence essential

Start and finish times will vary dependent on-site requirements but expected core hours will be 8:30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday with an on-call rota in place which you would expect to fulfil 1 in every 6 weeks.
