As a Cover Teacher, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of high schools by providing effective cover for absent teachers. You will be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects and year groups, maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment, and upholding the high standards of education.
Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering pre-planned lessons to students in the absence of regular teachers.
* Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a conducive learning environment.
* Providing support and guidance to students to facilitate their academic progress.
* Collaborating with colleagues to ensure continuity and consistency in teaching.
* Following school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health & safety guidelines.
Requirements:
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to adapt quickly to different teaching styles and classroom dynamics.
* Flexibility and availability to take on short and long-term assignments as required.
* You must have legal right to work in the UK.
* Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained.
* You must be willing to attend a registration interview.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
