Business Development Executive Job Type: Full-time Temp to Perm Location: Preston Salary: Hourly equivalent annual salary of £35,000 I am looking to recruit a highly enthusiastic and driven Business Development Executive to join a commercial interior kit-out company based in Preston. Day-to-day of the role: Make daily outbound phone calls to follow up on face-to-face visits made. Manage accounts by keeping in touch with past customers through phone and email to identify new requirements. Build and maintain a database of architects, actively targeting them to get products specified. Search the press and LinkedIn daily for potential opportunities, connecting and building relationships with prospects. Use in house system to follow up on leads weekly to identify target projects in sales areas. Send recorded videos to prospects, introducing them to our website and offerings. Attend networking conferences monthly to exhibit and converse with prospects. Conduct weekly face-to-face visits to prospective customers, distributing literature and discussing their refurbishment plans. Required Skills & Qualifications: Excellent interpersonal skills, able to engage effectively with prospective clients. Proven ability to build rapport and form business relationships. Strong organisational skills with a disciplined approach. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
