Job Description:
As a Senior Health and Safety Consultant, you will play a key role in advising and supporting our clients to ensure their projects are delivered safely and in compliance with all relevant regulations. You will manage a diverse portfolio of schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide expert health and safety advice, guidance, and consultancy services across various projects.
2. Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety management systems tailored to client needs.
3. Conduct site audits, risk assessments, and inspections to ensure compliance with legislation and industry standards.
4. Prepare and deliver comprehensive health and safety reports, action plans, and recommendations.
5. Lead health and safety training sessions and toolbox talks for clients and their teams.
6. Support clients with incident investigations, ensuring root cause analysis and lessons learned.
7. Advise on CDM (Construction Design and Management) Regulations and act as the Principal Designer when required.
8. Keep up to date with industry developments and changes in health and safety legislation.
9. Build strong relationships with clients, offering proactive and practical solutions to health and safety challenges.
Qualifications and Experience:
10. NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
11. Chartered Membership of IOSH (CMIOSH) is highly desirable.
12. In-depth knowledge of CDM Regulations, risk management, and safety compliance.
13. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.
14. Proven track record in managing multiple projects and delivering results within tight deadlines.
15. Experience in delivering health and safety training and workshops.
16. Full UK driving license and willingness to travel across the North West.
