Teaching Assistant – Additional Needs – Level 1

Grade: Birtley Scale Point 3 (£18,427.50)
Hours: 32.5 per week (9am – 3.30pm with 30 minutes for lunch)
Responsible to: SENCO
Purpose of the Job:
To work with teachers as part of a professional team to support teaching and learning for SEN pupils. Providing learning support to pupils who need particular help to overcome barriers to learning, such as those with learning difficulties and/or behavioural, social, communication or sensory disabilities.
Contract: 1 Year fixed contract (may be extended after 1 year)
