Manage the Theatre Department and provide line management for the team. Comply with policy and procedure in data collection and reporting. Responsible for ensuring the team address on-going health care needs and where appropriate, undertake effective discharge planning. Maximise best use of clinical resources, monitor and evaluate patient flow, admission and discharge arrangements, take responsibility for initiating improvements. Manage Staffing levels and staff rosters including organising agency cover/overtime to cover service delivery. Develop the services within the Theatre Department and implement service improvements. Lead recruitment and retention within the Theatre Department.
