We are in an exciting position to be able to offer a nurse, with the correct skill set, the opportunity to work as part of the Learning Disability Intensive Support Service (LDISS) based at Murray Royal Hospital.
The primary role of the post holder is to manage a caseload of clients with a Learning Disability who have additional complex needs such as autism, epilepsy, mental health and behaviours that challenge, utilising a person-centred principle to assess, plan and implement care. The post will involve delivering a wide range of specialist health related nursing services of which includes nurse led clinics to our clients within the unit and in the community who live within the Perth and Kinross area.
The successful applicant will be part of a multi-disciplinary team and must be able to work as part of a team. Regular supervision and CPD time will be accessible.
The post holder will work alongside health, social care agencies and primary care as well as our partners in the education and voluntary sector.
