Exciting Opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor! We are currently recruiting for a well-established multidisciplinary consultancy seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor with project team leader responsibilities. This role offers a hybrid working model, providing flexibility between office and home working. The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects across sectors including housing, education, commercial, regeneration, and blue light.
Key Responsibilities: Liaise with clients, present schemes, manage project programming, and oversee service delivery.
Act as the Contract Administrator or Employers Agent.
Appoint and manage the performance of the Professional Team.
Prepare and present initial appraisals and feasibility reports.
Prepare contract documents and oversee project budgets.
Delegate duties while maintaining overall responsibility for project success.
Develop cost plans, manage tendering procedures, and administer contract arrangements.
Prepare tendering documents and oversee project finances, including payments, cost assessments, and final accounts.
Lead meetings and effectively manage project workstreams.
Ideal Candidate: Associate membership of RICS or equivalent.
Strong core quantity surveying and project management skills.
Proven experience managing complex building contracts and project programmes.
Strong client engagement and communication skills.
Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience (BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying/Project Management or equivalent knowledge and competence).
