Salary:£35,000

Hours:Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Responsibilities of the MHE Trainer & Safety Coordinator
Oversee the maintenance, availability, and user compliance with manual handling equipment.
Coordinate with maintenance contractor, schedule repairs, manage equipment utilisation, and track inventory.
Schedule routine maintenance and carry out inspections of MHE.
Coordinate with the external contractor for repairs.
Deliver and maintain all training for all staff, including managing refreshers.
Carry out observational audits.
Ensure equipment meets safety standards and conduct certification renewals.
Requirements for a successful MHE Trainer & Safety Coordinator
Experience within a similar role previously.
Proven Health and Safety knowledge/compliance.
RTITB certified.
MHE train the trainer in accordance with ACOP L117.
IOSH qualifications.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Emergency first aid at work trained.
Fire Marshal.
