Planned Maintenance and Utilities Manager
As the Planned Maintenance (PM) & Utilities Manager for Diversey’s production site in Somercotes, you will support the Maintenance strategy through PM systems and improve the site's Utilities performance & efficiency. You will oversee the team focused on PM and Utilities, ensuring daily equipment checks and maintenance activities are correctly performed. You will develop and utilize a CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System) and relevant data analysis to enhance production processes, implement performance improvements, and maintain existing processes.
You will work alongside the Technician Manager, responsible for reactive maintenance, and report to the Engineering Manager. You will coordinate closely with the engineering management team to achieve overall improvements.
Our site in Cotes Park produces professional cleaning chemicals, requiring fast, accurate, and thorough preventative maintenance for success.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Ensuring compliance with the PM schedule
* Developing and improving AM and PM systems for efficient plant operation
* Ensuring machinery operates effectively through PM systems
* Introducing new machinery and technologies to the site
* Improving line efficiencies by analyzing breakdowns and targeting PM activities
* Cascading current PM activities to the operations team via Autonomous Maintenance
* Ensuring safety and compliance with legislation and GMP
* Growing the team to shift from reactive to proactive maintenance
* Ensuring daily checks on utilities plant equipment
* Carrying out function tests on safety equipment
* Maintaining compliance with audit requirements
* Making effective repairs using established methodologies
* Applying and improving AM and PM systems for efficient plant/utilities operation
* Working closely with OEM engineers to ensure utilities equipment operates effectively
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
* Management experience in a similar role
* Electrical and/or Mechanical qualifications (C&G, NVQ/ONC/HNC)
* Experience in manufacturing industries such as Packaging, Food, FMCG, or Maintenance
* Good understanding of manufacturing utilities plant equipment
