S upport Worker Required Ref No 40709 To provide a flexible support service to an female child with an acquired brain injury. Acting in an enabling capacity, the role will be to support the client in accessing the community, going shopping, going out for food or to the cinema The successful applicant will support our client to attend social events with friends and competing and to take part in signing events nationwide You will also be expected to attend school trips and holidays. Previous experience of working with children with additional needs is essential. Previous experience of supporting someone with a visual impairment and cerebral palsy is desirable. A full clean driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential Hours of work Initially 16 – 22 hours a month 3 hours Monday – Friday evening as and when needed 1 shift Saturday – Sunday 10am – 6pm twice a month Rate of pay £12 per hour weekdays Due to the nature of the role an enhanced check with the Disclosure and Barring Service will be required.
