Hope Sentamu Learning Trust has fourteen academies located within York, Hull and North Yorkshire. Our Trust comprises six secondary, six primary and two alternative provision academies.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Management Accountant to join our well established central finance team. This role is offered on a permanent, full time basis.
The role can be based at our Trust offices in York, Hull or Scarborough depending on the successful candidate's location. An ability and willingness to travel to locations across the Trust is vital.
The Management Accountant role will lead an established team of finance officers developing and delivering monthly management accounts and annual budgets across the Trust schools. The role will drive consistency and efficiency across the Trust, providing information, reports and recommendations to the Senior Leadership of the Trust, whilst monitoring compliance with financial policies, procedures and legislation.
The Trust operates an equitable finance model to ensure that all pupils are valued consistently while maximising investment into the educational provisions of our schools. This role will provide management of the budget setting process, ensuring the production of management accounts and forecasts on a monthly and annual basis and that all aspects of financial accounting and reporting are accurate and timely.

What we are looking for:
* An Accounting Qualification
* AAT Level 4 qualified
* ACCA, CIMA, ACA part or fully qualified.
* Experience of working in a financial role within either a commercial or public sector setting
* Experience of monthly management accounting
* Working knowledge of financial management systems
* Ability to travel freely across all schools within the Trust
