Role Overview As an M&E Planner, you will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules to ensure the successful delivery of mechanical and electrical projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure timelines are met and resources are effectively allocated. The ideal candidate will have experience in M&E planning, strong project management skills, and proficiency in planning software. Key Responsibilities Develop detailed M&E project schedules from pre-construction through to completion. Monitor project progress and update schedules accordingly to reflect any changes. Identify and manage project risks, ensuring potential delays are mitigated. Work closely with project teams to ensure alignment of schedules with project goals. Provide accurate progress reports and schedule forecasts to senior management and stakeholders. Utilize planning software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project for scheduling and reporting. Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure project timelines are maintained. Assist in resource allocation and cost analysis to ensure project efficiency. Support in the coordination of M&E works to optimize sequencing and reduce potential conflicts. Key Requirements Proven experience as a Planner in the M&E or construction sector. Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in construction projects. Proficiency in planning software such as Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject, or MS Project. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. Strong communication and organizational skills. Understanding of construction contracts and project management methodologies. Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
