About the role
This is a high-profile new role reporting to the Chief Growth Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing data-driven analytical insights for the commercial team in order to enable faster and more impactful execution of our commercial strategies across a wide range of key markets with the goal of helping us to optimise product portfolio performance.
The role is Head Office based in Poole, and a passion for all things 2 wheels is preferred.
Key responsibilities
1. Sales analysis at a category, product, channel, customer & country level
2. Translate commercial data and analysis into identifiable opportunities and develop actionable insight and key action planning in alignment with Muc-Off objectives to optimise sales
3. Monitoring new product launches
4. Monitoring key competition in each territory
5. Manage the review of our Commercial priorities to measure, evaluate and report progress against goals
6. Working with the channel directors to understand their needs and provide analysis that supports their commercial objectives
7. Work closely with product managers and the commercial team to optimize the product range by identifying products with high growth potential and those that need review or discontinuation
8. Provide strategic insights on product pricing, promotions, and placement to maximize profitability and sales
Must-haves
1. Experience in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint & Excel
2. Proven experience of owning and driving commercial planning, analysis & review
3. Experience in managing cross-functional projects and senior stakeholders
4. High numeracy and analytical ability, problem-solving with rigour, excellent attention to detail
5. Strong team working skills and the ability to build collaborative and productive working relationships with a wide range of people of different seniority levels
6. Thrives on working in a demanding and dynamic company
