An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen within the Assets Service. We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working, organised and self-motivated person with construction experience to join our Building Projects Team. This is a Senior Building Surveyor role which requires versatile and robust management of multiple concurrent construction projects of varying sizes and complexities. You will be leading and managing a wide range of projects across the Council’s portfolio and take all stakeholders along the journey with you. You will be required to undertake building surveys, create CAD drawings and gather detailed survey information required to progress the scheme. You will produce specifications, schedules of works, cost projections, undertake site visits and produce final accounts. You will be required to write reports to a high level and follow all statutory requirements.
