Swift placements are working with a client based in Bradford who are looking to recruit for a QHSE Technician on an FTC for 3 Months with a view to becoming a permanent role in May 2025. The successful candidate will be ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the workplace. Social Events Life insurance Pension Scheme Discount Programs Maternity, paternity leave options Key responsibilities: Conducting regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards. Inspection, test and release activates as required. Performing NDE testing and Dye Penetration. Developing and implementing safety policies and procedures. ? Manage and maintain QHSE induction and mandatory training modules Providing training and education on health, safety, and environmental practices. ? Investigating accidents and incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions. ? Conduct training sessions for staff on safety, environmental policies, and quality standards. Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Develop safety awareness programs for employees. Maintaining and updating safety data sheets and ensuring proper handling of hazardous materials. ? Collaborating with management to develop emergency response plans and conduct drills. ? Provide cover for other members of the Quality Department. Key Qualifications/ Experience: Certifications in Health and Safety such as NEBOSH or IOSH are highly desirable. 2-3 years of experience in a QHSE-related role, ideally within a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment. Full UK Driving License NDE Trained PMI Trained Familiarity with ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety) standards. Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and quality assurance principles. Proficiency in risk assessment, safety audits, and accident investigation techniques. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to analyse data and generate reports. Proficient in Microsoft Office and QHSE management software.
