Purpose of the Role
The role will include individually set projects that will require the targeting of specific customers, markets or geographical locations to secure new opportunities and new orders. Our philosophy on customer service, means that the individual will need to be customer focused, have good communication skills and have the ability to problem solve. As the role will be predominately office based, most interactions with customers will be via telephone so experience in customer service/telesales roles would be preferable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Always promote Health & Safety in the workplace, displaying excellent personal safety and challenging others when unsafe behaviour is observed. This extends to ensuring all reports are aware of and behave in accordance with the company Health & Safety guidelines.
* Identifying potential new business & sourcing leads from various sources.
* Responsible for measuring quality of leads logged.
* Follow up leads logged to obtain plans, to be quoted and followed through to order stage.
* Responsible for tracking of quotations in your allocated area(s) of responsibility.
* Provide support in other team member’s allocated area(s) in their absence.
* Manage customer queries.
* Ensure all updates, closed quotations and data input within Keylink is accurate and in the correct format.
* Ensure effective department and cross departmental communication at all times.
* Instil and maintain a customer service culture where the customer always comes first. This includes customer service culture for our internal and external customers.
