Salary: £24,337 to £24,945 pro rata per annum. Plus generous benefits including:
1. 45 days annual leave per year pro rata (including bank holidays and efficiency closures)

About the role
To work as a member of the Quality & Compliance Team to support and develop administrative procedures and quality processes. The post holder will provide administrative support to the Senior Quality & Compliance Officer including liaison with Awarding Organisations. We require someone experienced in designing and maintaining spreadsheets, organising meetings and dealing with administration of a wide range of systems. The team prides itself on being as paper-free as possible so you need to be comfortable in working mainly online. This is a challenging and varied role requiring organisational flair and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Many of our staff work flexibly in many ways, including working from home. We are open to discussing other possibilities for flexible working and encourage you to talk to us at interview about the flexibility you need. We can’t promise to give you exactly what you want, but we will explore what’s possible for the role.
About the Person
You are an experienced administrator, with the ability to make use of a wide range of ICT to manipulate documents of all types, communicate with external and internal stakeholders and provide data to members of the College Leadership Team. Ideally, you will have experience of working with Awarding Organisation systems and within a Further Education setting. You will have qualifications in Maths and English and ideally in ICT as well. You will be flexible in your approach to issues, able to meet targets without constant supervision and be committed to working to ensure students and apprentices are successful. You will have good communication skills and be able to maintain confidentiality when required to.
About the College
We are a large, regional college serving a population across York and North Yorkshire of more than one million people. Each year, we have approximately 4,000 school leavers, 1,000 apprentices, 2,000 adult students, and 400 higher-level students studying with us. Our wide range of education options span entry level programmes through to degrees, higher technical qualifications, and accredited professional courses to courses for professional development. Our apprenticeships can be studied from level 2 to level 5 across a range of different career pathways. We are the largest provider of A-Level and vocational programmes for school leavers in the region; we offer nearly 35 A-Level subjects and over 80 vocational courses, including a wide range of T-Level pathways.
