Support Pupils with Autism
We are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at Ashley Park School. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with pupils on the autistic spectrum and be able to provide individualized support to help them excel in their education.
In this role, you will work closely with our dedicated teaching staff to develop and implement learning plans tailored to each pupil's unique needs. You will also have the opportunity to lead small group activities and contribute to the development of educational programs that promote independence and confidence among our students.
The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing learning materials, supervising pupils during activities, and supporting their emotional and physical well-being. Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous experience working with individuals with autism is highly desirable, but not essential. We are committed to providing ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure that our staff have the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their roles.
