Do you have what it takes to be part of Certikin’s busy Distribution Administration team?
You will provide Administration to the busy Distribution department by liaising with carrier companies, customers and internal departments concerning the delivery of products and the collection of returns. You will work closely alongside our Logistics team to provide a world-class level of customer service.
Key requirements of the role are:
1. Calculating carriage prices and processing daily dispatch tickets
2. Price checking invoices from external carriers and fuel suppliers
3. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records for all transport related operations, including performance records of external carriers
4. Producing delivery paperwork for our own lorries and providing the correct documents for external carriers
5. Answering calls and emails relating to deliveries, as well as making calls to customers to discuss delivery arrangements including ETAs
6. Providing world-class customer service to customers and internal departments.
The successful candidate should have:
1. Multi-tasking and organisational skills
2. Strong communication skills with customers and across the business
3. Friendly and confident telephone and email manner, as well as face-to-face
4. Ability to work to deadlines
5. Ability to troubleshoot and react to changing situations
6. Proven administrative and organisation skills as well as the ability to prioritise
7. Self-motivated and flexible
8. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
The successful candidate should ideally have:
1. Knowledge of Warehouse/Distribution operation or working with Logistics companies would be desirable but not essential
2. Knowledge of the swimming pool and water leisure products industry would be advantageous but not essential.
Your role will be office based working 39.5 hours a week within a close-knit team.
