We are looking for experienced and ambitious Skilled Shift PSV Engineers to join Arriva, based at our Harlow depot. As a PSV Engineer, your role would involve carrying out planned and preventative maintenance along with diagnostic fault finding and reactive repairs to a fleet of commercially operated buses & coaches, to the strict standards set by both Arriva, and the DVSA. Arriva Workplace Pension. The role will involve: Servicing, maintenance and repairs to Arriva and DVSA standards. Continuous improvement of vehicle reliability. MOT preparation, planned preventative maintenance campaigns and quality checks. Vehicle fault diagnosis and ensuring reliability and maintenance is kept to Arriva Standards (Higher than DVSA). Attending roadside breakdowns. Early/Day shift rota covers 5 out of 7 days Sunday to Saturday working with shift start times as early as 0400 Late / Night Shift rota covers 5 days out of 7 Sunday to Saturday with shift times being 17:30-02:00 All shifts include a 30 min unpaid and 15 min paid break Requirements: Qualifications for PSV/HGV maintenance and repair - Minimum of NVQ level 3 or any equivalent international qualification (will require confirmation). A full UK driving licence (6 points or less). Ability to be passed fit for a PCV pre-employment medical.
