Job overview
We are looking for a motivated, resourceful individual to oversee and provide comprehensive administrative support in the delivery of the Patient Safety Incident Review Framework (PSIRF). You will be based within the central patient safety team at an exciting time as we continue to implement and develop our patient safety systems and processes.
In the role, you will carry out a range of duties, including:
* Administrative support for and organisation of meetings and events.
* Provision of reports, including analysis of information.
* Attending for note taking and transcribing interviews with staff, patients, and families.
* Evaluation of key elements of our PSIRF policy and plan.

Main duties of the job
The role and responsibilities of this post support the delivery and evaluation of all policies and procedures related to the delivery of PSIRF. This includes Learning from deaths and elements of the national patient safety strategy.

Qualifications
* Degree or an equivalent level of experience in an administrative or secretarial role.
* Business administration qualification or equivalent professional experience.
* GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths.
* Project management training.
Experience
* Demonstrable experience of servicing and supporting formal meetings.
* Experience of diary management and arranging meetings/appointments.
* Experience of developing and implementing effective workload management systems.
* Experience of working with datasets including analysis and collation.
* Experience of leading or supporting project management.
* Experience working in the NHS.
* Experience and expertise in the use of a risk management system e.g., Datix.
Knowledge
* Strong skills and experience of using Microsoft Office specifically word, outlook, excel.
* Confidentiality and data protection processes and procedures.
