Programme Manager - Fintech Sector, High Net Worth (HNW) Banking & Payments Location: City of London Salary: £750-900 per day, outside IR35 (circa 12 month contract) Description: An innovative Fintech company in the high net worth banking and payments sector is in urgent need of a Programme Manager to assist further scaling up infrastructure and processes, in practice working with the C-Suite team on a portfolio of projects to mature the business in preparation for an IPO - and the planned profitable exit of a Private Equity investment partner who has successfully funded the business during scale up over the past 5 years. The programme will impact on business areas including CRM, HR, data analytics/BI, customer onboarding, and KYC/AML. This award-winning firm is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to join their London head office on an initial 12-month engagement, with potential for extension as the business gears up for a significant evolution in preparation for an IPO. This role offers the flexibility of hybrid working, allowing the successful candidate to work from home part of the week. We also seek an experienced 'people manager' who will be able to source, onboard and manage Business Analysts and PMO contract staff as and where required during the duration of the contract. Responsibilities: - Drive people, process, and technology transformation initiatives to enhance customer experience, respond to regulatory changes, and strategise for business growth. - Lead a project to introduce AI and related tools to streamline AML/KYC processes to speed up the onboarding of customers whilst at that same time maintaining a robust environment. - Collaborate with senior leadership to resolve business challenges, deliver superior customer experiences, revolutionise customer interactions, and support business expansion with a cutting-edge mobile banking app. - Assist in the expansion of the business further into the European market. - Take on hands-on responsibility for programme management, project prioritisation, and roadmap development. Requirements: - Proven experience as a Project Manager, Programme Manager, or Programme Director in dynamic and disruptive environments. - Ideally experience of working within Agile development environments, particularly in the technology, banking, or finance sectors. - Ability to establish and manage programmes, build PMO operations, and recruit programme and project teams. - Proficiency in Agile development, collaborating with engineers, architects, and DevOps teams. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including interacting with senior executives at up to C-Suite level, regulators, and investors. - Demonstrate clear examples of applying innovation and adaptability in fast-paced settings.
