As a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of data-driven decision-making. You'll use your analytical skills to solve complex problems and provide valuable insights that directly influence our business strategies. You will be using SQL and Data Modelling Techniques. Key job responsibilities The successful candidate will: - Partner with stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver impactful solutions - Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions. - Write high quality code to retrieve and analyze data. - Use coding, statistics, modelling and other analytical techniques. - Draw insights from data, analyze and solve business problems at their root, stepping back to understand the broader context. - Develop solutions that utilize the highest standards of analytical rigor and data integrity. - Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation. - Learn and understand a broad range of Amazon's data resources and know how, when, and which to use. - Have an understanding and empathy for business objectives, and continually align your work with those objectives and seek to deliver business value. - Respond with urgency to high priority requests from senior business leaders. A day in the life Your typical day might involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities, analyzing complex datasets to uncover trends, and presenting your findings to senior leaders. You'll also spend time optimizing existing processes and exploring new technologies to enhance our analytical capabilities.
