Job Title: HR Business Partner
RAC, the UK's leading breakdown provider with over 4000 Orange heroes, has an exciting opportunity for a HR Business Partner to join us on a 6-month FTC. The HR Business Partner plays a crucial role in fostering a positive work environment through effective employee engagement, talent development, and organisational change initiatives.
Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, you will collaborate with colleagues to provide dedicated HR expertise, guidance, and support to people managers and leaders. Your role will involve facilitating talent management, organisational design, and change initiatives to drive RAC’s success.
This role is hybrid, working 2 days a week from the office and 3 days from home.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and ensure a positive work environment where employees feel valued and motivated.
* Identify and nurture talent within the organisation, facilitate development conversations, and create career growth pathways to retain talent.
* Lead and support organisational design and change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal disruption.
* Guide managers in managing employee performance, setting expectations, and providing feedback to improve productivity and development.
* Build strong relationships with employees and managers, address concerns, resolve conflicts, and ensure legal compliance.
* Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives aligned with business objectives.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have experience in a generalist HR role, with a strong understanding of HR principles and practices, and the ability to develop credibility with stakeholders.
You should have experience managing projects and delivering to plan within large, complex organisations. Experience in preparing consultation documents and managing KPIs across HR is also essential.
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
* HR certification (CIPD Level 5/7)
