Pay Rate: £95+ per day
A welcoming and supportive primary school in Stockport is seeking a dedicated Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a nurturing environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and confidence in young learners.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons that support early development.
- Provide targeted support to children with varying needs, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that supports children's social, emotional, and educational development.
- Encourage learning through play by assisting with hands-on activities.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for each child.
- A Level 3 Early Years Qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience working in an EYFS setting with a good understanding of the Early Years curriculum.
- A proactive and positive approach to supporting children's learning and development.
- A commitment to creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
- Have the Right to Work in the UK.
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
- Provide two professional references related to childcare.
- Have up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable, but not essential as training can be provided).
