Senior Mechanical Engineer
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
Location: Nailsea
We currently have an exclusive opportunity to join a lively and busy building services consultancy located in Nailsea where you will be a key part of the M+E services team. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be involved in a range of multi-million-pound projects working across all Building Services Sectors.
The role…
1. Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary members of the design team to deliver safe, efficient, and buildable solutions.
2. Work autonomously, as well as support junior members of the team.
3. Show passion for creative and innovative design.
4. Exhibit excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
5. Be a forward planner with the ability to deliver high-standard work to project programmes.
6. Produce calculations, design deliverables, conduct site surveys, perform construction stage duties, and manage client liaison.
7. Engage in liaison with members of design/construction teams and project management.
8. Demonstrate a passion for sustainability within the construction arena.
What we're looking for
1. Degree qualified.
2. Demonstrate suitable design experience in the building services sectors.
3. Effective communicator, both verbally and in the production of reports and specifications.
4. Understand project needs and manage the full delivery.
5. Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
6. Experience of working within a team is crucial.
