An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Fine Touch Care Agency as a Care Manager. Fine Touch Care Agency is an independent, award-winning care provider based in Derby, England. The business successfully delivers a premium service to clients who wish to retain their independence and live in the comfort of their own homes. Excellence in care and customer service are of paramount importance to the self-funding clients, who account for 90% of the care hours delivered. An opportunity has arisen for a strong, organised, and experienced operator to take on the Care Manager role. The focus of the role will be upon managing the existing client base and team of care workers as well as enabling growth by nurturing and training new staff and servicing new clients. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Responsible for the care services delivered by the business. 2. Conduct care assessments for new clients and review and update care plans for existing clients. 3. Liaison with clients, relatives, representatives, and health professionals. 4. Ultimate responsibility for care staff and administrative staff. 5. To ensure good communication and effective team building amongst all staff, including holding regular supervisions, KPIs and team meetings. 6. Lead on CQC compliance and inspections. 7. To ensure the business’s policies and procedures are maintained and met. 8. To ensure successful implementation of quality control systems. 9. Involved with the recruitment and selection of care staff. 10. Management of staff retention policy. 11. Ensure training needs of all staff are met effectively. 12. To share on-call duties. 13. In extreme cases (sickness/emergencies) to deliver care services. EMPLOYEE SPECIFICATION Essential · Proactive and flexible approach to the role · Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to develop teams · Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills · Highly organised with the ability to multi-task and prioritise detail driven workload · Strong customer-service ethos · Prior experience in management of domiciliary care delivery Awareness of CQC regulations and knowledge of legislation relevant to the home care sector · Either possess RMA / QCF Level 5 qualification or have the necessary skills / experience · No criminal convictions · Full driving licence · Own transport Desirable · NMC registered with RGM qualification · Good network of borough of Richmond contacts in the health and/or care fields.
