My Client
My client provides premium building service solutions to leading food manufacturers and distributors in the Southwest of England. The business also operates a renewable division that provides low-carbon heating and cooling solutions to commercial and domestic customers.
The Role
They are seeking a Refrigeration Installation Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with refrigeration installation and a strong understanding of electrical systems and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform refrigeration installations, including interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
2. Utilise electrical knowledge and appropriate braising techniques.
3. Collaborate with the team to achieve project and company goals.
4. Provide excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
5. Travel to different sites based in and around Exeter, with occasional overnight stays required.
Requirements:
1. Experience in refrigeration installation, preferably within food manufacturing.
2. Good electrical knowledge.
3. Commissioning experience is advantageous but not essential.
4. Proven strong customer service skills and a proactive attitude.
5. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
6. Good communicator, written and verbal.
7. Ability to work under pressure to a high standard.
8. City and Guilds F-Gas qualification (or equivalent).
9. IPAF certification, Level 2 NVQ and Braising certifications are beneficial.
10. Full UK driving licence.
