Have you recently graduated with QTS and looking for a role with flexibility?
Do you wish you could work with different schools and STILL get the hours needed for your Teaching year?
Are you looking to gain experience prior to diving into a full-time role in September?
Then let us help you!
Teaching Personnel are looking for enthusiastic students who have completed their degree with QTS or PGCE and are awaiting their QTS qualification. Even if you are a few months away from this, we can start the ball rolling to give you experience and exposure with local schools.
This is an opportunity to try out different year groups and sectors which you may not have had the opportunity to explore during your placements. For example, you may want to consider Special Education or Alternative provisions without committing fully. This is where we can help you.
We work across the South Wales area; therefore, no school is off limits. We will work with you to tailor your experience and provide support during your year in practice as a Student Teacher. It can be daunting, so having an additional layer of support from Teaching Personnel can really increase your confidence and resources, setting you up nicely for full-time teaching opportunities in September.
Requirements:
1. Must have or be due to finish a degree that results in QTS
2. Be able to locate/commute to South Wales
3. Have an enhanced DBS on the update service (Teaching Personnel can help you with the application)
4. Be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) (Teaching Personnel can help you with the application)
To work with Teaching Personnel, it is worth noting that there are NO FEES! We are looking for our new cohort of student teachers in preparation for 2025. We are also open to group interviews, so if you and your fellow peers wish to register together, we can facilitate this.
To register your interest, please apply below with your CV. We will be shortlisting within 2 working days to progress the application to the interview stage.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see the FAQs on the Teaching Personnel website for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’; this may also include an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted applicants.
We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
