LCP Delta are looking for a Research Manager to manage our Energy Insights+ Service (EI+). This role is at the centre of positioning, delivering and growing the EI+ research subscription service while supporting the future expansion and development of the company.

What will you be doing?
* Service Management and Delivery – including taking ownership of the delivery pipeline and working collaboratively with the wider Residential Energy team to produce Service Deliverables containing insights, opinion, data and forecasts for our subscribers.
* Team management – managing workloads within the EI+ team and providing feedback and support on deliverables.
* Renewals and Subscribers – regular engagement with subscribers, including identifying the topics and questions which are important to them. You will have responsibility for responding to subscriber requests and proactive subscriber engagement.
* Developing a thought-leadership position that challenges conventional thinking, delivering this through research content, presentations at conferences, webinars, articles, blogs, etc.
* Understanding the needs of our existing and prospective clients and shaping, managing, and delivering the production of research content and insight accordingly.
* Positioning the service in the market as a ‘must-have’ by meeting the needs of current and prospective subscribers.
What skills, experience and qualities are we looking for?
* Relevant work experience, ideally in an energy insights product team or energy consultancy.
* Relevant expertise (desirable): energy data analytics and AI / customer engagement / mobile app development / user interface experience / home energy management.
* Commercial acumen, the ability to think commercially about the needs of our clients.
* Customer focus, with a good understanding of how customer needs should be reflected in home energy product and service design.
* Project management skills, ideally in a consultancy or research setting, including working with external clients, meeting internal report deadlines, and budget management.
* Excellent analytical skills, able to break down complex problems, able to build credible market projections backed by well-researched analysis.
* Proficient writing and presentation skills, drawing a coherent and compelling narrative from research data.
* Evidence of your ability in a variety of research methods, including desk-based research, face-to-face and telephone discussions with industry experts and other professionals.
* Ability to collaborate with other teams.
* The ability to develop relationships with new industry contacts / clients, and to understand their needs. A desire to learn from, listen to and understand industry contacts.
* The ability to network and attend events to project LCP Delta’s capability and thought-leadership position in this area.
