Alecto Recruitment is keen to hear from Commercial Managers and Quantity Surveyors who have experience overseeing large projects within Heavy Industrial Environments, ideally throughout the Power or Renewables sector or similar, interested in a full-time permanent role in the Berkshire area.

Job Brief
You will be responsible for day-to-day management of the budget and costs involved in this large-scale construction project.
Reporting to and supporting the Project Director to ensure critical decisions are made in a safe and professional manner ensuring site risks are limited, other responsibilities include;
1. Ensuring commercial issues, site risks, and client contract management are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner.
2. Leading all site commercial activities, maintaining an overview of all commercial site issues.
3. Guiding commercial site personnel, coordinating tasks, and ensuring compliance with contractual and insurance requirements, when needed.
4. Leading and participating in subcontractor negotiations and managing financial duties.
5. Aiding the Company Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.
6. Being able to liaise with stakeholders to ensure project runs smoothly.
7. Administering contracts of various kinds.
Requirements
1. Should have 10+ years of quantity surveying experience within project delivery and have experience in change management.
2. Must have good communication skills and be fluent in English.
3. Should hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or similar.
4. MUST have a valid right to work in the UK.
Package
Salary between £80,000 - £100,000 plus benefits.
Performance related Bonus available and Car Allowance.
