Our maintenance team requires a suitably qualified M&E Technician to assist with maintenance activities to electrical and mechanical assets, specifically electrical and hydraulic systems. You will need to isolate incoming power supply/control panels, perform fault finding within the 400v/230v/24v systems, and fix any potential issues. An ideal applicant will have skills linked to:

This role supports Canal & River Trust’s aims to improve safety and increase the number of people using the inland waterways network. Ideally, you will already be fully conversant with mechanical and electrical isolation methods for safe working and will have the ability to fault find methodically without assistance.
If you have experience of fault finding and fixing a variety of electrical and/or mechanical assets, you may be suitable for this role. We welcome Technicians with valuable experience, such as working with water plants, pumps, sewage works, hydraulics, production plants, traffic lights, packaging machines, lifts and escalators, automatic gate systems, or heating control systems.
