Join The Close Brothers Asset and Leasing Team where you will work alongside a great team to achieve sales, revenue and profit targets from new business sales opportunities based within the office.
Our ideal team member will have previous experience in the Commercial Vehicle Industry and use their skills to monitor online enquiries into the business and follow up with customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* To research key business sectors, use facts, figures and tools to present plans, and forecast future goals and targets
* Utilise on line marketing including approved Social Media platforms to attract new business enquiries
* To identify targeted small and medium enterprises (SMEs) as sales prospects for Contract Hire & related opportunities
* To articulate their 'New Business Development Plan'
* Be able to articulate their strategy for developing new business. This should contain both short- and long-term goals with agreed measures and milestones.
* To be responsible for achieving predetermined monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets in line with margin boundaries
* To report results and complete ‘Reporting File’ within agreed timescales. To have these reports available for review by Senior Management Team.
* To gain a competitive edge in negotiations through a thorough understanding of the market.
* To maintain and increase a personal data base of prospects that is both meaningful and up-to-date
* Inputting data and effective management of CRM system
* Impeccable Relationship Management. 360-degree feedback via Client and Cross Department if necessary
* Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF HAVE:
* An ability to identify and resolve issues. And to able to collate and analyse data - PC literate.
* The skills to write well-articulated proposals and reports in response to clients’ needs.
* Great negotiation skills and are able to build strong relationships.
* The ability to well under pressure, be self-motivated, committed to meeting deadlines (self-imposed and external), and to manage multiple requirements and demands effectively
IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU:
* Have a detailed understanding of the Commercial Vehicle Industry & Acquisition Methods eg rental / contract hire / leasing / vehicle funding.
* Have demonstrable track record in achieving / exceeding targets and evidence of revenue growth
* Possess strong consultative sales skills with a focus on providing solutions
