Location: Bridgend, South Wales

Contract: Full-Time, Fixed-Term (until the end of the academic year)
Salary: Pay to Scale (in line with the Teacher Pay Scale)

Teaching Personnel are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Religious Education to join a thriving, high-achieving secondary school in Bridgend, South Wales. This is a full-time position, starting in January 2025 and running until the end of the academic year.
About the Role:
* Deliver engaging and thought-provoking Religious Education lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Teaching at Key Stage 5 is desirable but not essential.
* Plan and assess lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and examination requirements.
* Inspire students to develop their understanding of world religions, ethics, and philosophy.
* Collaborate with colleagues to support the department’s initiatives and goals.
Candidate Requirements:
* Experience teaching Religious Education to Key Stages 3 and 4 is essential.
* Experience teaching Key Stage 5 is highly desirable but not essential.
* Applications are welcomed from both NQTs and fully qualified teachers.
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
* A genuine passion for the subject and a commitment to fostering a love for learning in young people.
* Registration with the EWC as a teacher.
* Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service.
