The impressive brand-new Everton Stadium, located on Bramley-Moore dock, Liverpool, is set to be one of the most revolutionary and advanced venues for fan experience in Europe. Serving 52,888 fans per matchday, the mission is to set the standard for excellence and create exceptional experiences for Evertonians and non-match day visitors to the site.
We are looking for a Back of house Manager will work closely with Culinary Director, Stadia Executive Chef, departmental Head Chefs and Head of Logistics to support with the delivery of our kitchen operation in the new Everton Football Club.
This is a role crucial to the mobilisation of the stadium. Ensuring that all back of house areas are fully functional with operating procedures in place. You will have a strong focus on team development ensuring that both full time and variable team members are well trained, motivated and capable of delivering ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Reporting to the Executive Head Chef, the role will be responsible for overseeing all non-cooking back of house operations.
- Organise rotas and employment for the Kitchen Porters ensuring that they are correctly trained, presented accordingly and assigned to areas in line with business needs
- Supervise and coordinate activities of pantry, storeroom, and non-cooking kitchen workers as well as maintenance of premises and equipment
- Undertake regular checks and inspections to ensure a safe and compliant working environment
- Managing and ordering stock levels of Chemicals, cleaning equipment, required PPE and required disposable cleaning equipment.
- Ensuring all kitchen areas are prepared and correctly stocked for operational service
- Accepting deliveries to include food and non-food stock in accordance with Aramark policies.
- This role requires an enthusiastic individual to be able to assist all head chefs when necessary, in being able to operate kitchens and deliver guest experiences
- You will champion a culture focused on quality, team development and health and safety in all that you do.
- To feed information to the operation that allows the business operators to drive margin improvement.
- Ownership of the day-to-day delivery of consistent and exceptional product quality and service standards to achieve, and ideally exceed department targets, and grow our reputation for celebrated customer experiences.
- To provide continual administrative support to the senior kitchen teams including ordering, health and safety paperwork, compliance paperwork and team training schedules etc.
