Working from UK facilities we design and work with design teams to originate, make and supply. Producing home furnishings from samples and short runs in the UK to manufacturing large volumes with our partners overseas. We make bed linen, curtains, fabrics, towels and home furnishing accessories for high street retailers.
We deal directly in the supply chain working ourselves and with our own teams overseas in Pakistan. We have our own modern facilities in the UK with digital textile printing, stitching and warehousing and distribution.
With fantastic design, merchandising and product departments we have a respected team with proven track records in retail, fashion and manufacturing.
All of this is all backed by being one of the few UK companies in our field ISO accredited.
Main Duties:
Provide accurate financial information, advice and support to the business and directors to enable them to make sound business decisions.
Typical hours of work Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm, however there is an element of flexibility with this.
Typical work activities
· Provide accurate end of year and monthly management accounts and variance analysis to specific deadlines agreed with directors.
· Maintain financial covenants set out and agreed with our current bankers and provide all required reports.
· Prepare cashflow forecasts, P&L and Balance sheet forecasting
· Maintain full purchase & sales ledger along with cashbooks & stock reports.
· Managing banking facility limits and ensure they are not exceeded
· Manage trade services and multi-currency transactions
· Maintain payrolls and ensure payments to employees are accurate timely and in compliance with current legislation as well as able to provide key data to management.
· Debtor Management – Ensure customers are paying to time, disputes resolved and terms in line with agreed credit insurance limits.
· Manage Supplier payments in timely manner.
Qualifications and Experience:
· 1 year experience in payroll
· Hold a recognised financial qualification and will also be able to demonstrate experience within a similar role
· Experience of Sage payroll
· Excellent communication skills, dealing with both internal and external stakeholders.
