Are you looking for a rewarding teaching opportunity in a school with a positive and collaborative approach to work? An Ofsted ‘Good’ school with a vibrant and supportive English department is excited to invite applications for an English teaching role, starting in January.
Our client is seeking a passionate and dedicated English teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be an English specialist, capable of teaching up to GCSE, with the opportunity to teach A-Level for the right candidate.

The Role:
1. Use evidence-based teaching practices to maximize student learning and progression.
2. Develop and refine curriculum materials to align with school goals and national standards.
3. Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback that supports growth and achievement.
4. Use data from assessments to inform instruction, address gaps in learning, and support individual student needs.
5. Engage in reflective practice, including self-evaluation and contributing to the school’s improvement plan.
6. Contribute to the wider school community by participating in school events, extracurricular activities, and community initiatives.
Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
2. Experience teaching English in secondary schools.
3. Strong knowledge of the English national curriculum.
4. A Bachelor’s degree in English or a related discipline (desirable).
